Moving vista forward
When I put down roots in Vista, it was because it reminded me of my home in the Central Valley. I come from a family of farmers, a blue collar, working class, military service family. Growing up, I was taught to create my own opportunities and that everyone contributed to the family.
I chose to run for Vista City Council before COVID-19. I’m convinced this is no time for passive leadership. I’m motivated, now more than ever, to take a seat at the table with a vision to jump start economic growth, address the climate crisis, prioritize infrastructure needs, and enhance responsive and transparent government once I'm elected in November.
I believe creating opportunity for ALL has been hard to achieve in Vista. I will work to create a Vista we are proud of. One that brings us closer as a community, enhances civic identity, and balances growth with the needs of people at the forefront.
